There are three things that stop almost everybody from growing their business and achieving success they want.

The first deterrent is desire to be perfect. Just recently, I had a marketing strategy consultation with one of my clients. This gentleman is brilliant and he has so much to offer. The reason why he isn't yet where he wants to be is that he is waiting to create this perfect "design" he can put out there in terms of his products and services. As a result, he is continuously re-inventing things and never offering them to his potential clients...

Perfection doesn't exit! Focus on excellence. Excellence is doing the best you can with what you have at this very moment. If you put your entire heart and effort and this proverbial 110% of yourself into everything you do, that's when things start bursting with energy and radiating with your excitement and passion for what you do.

People get into this. They buy into it. They get so entangled with your passion that they follow it, they want more of it and more of what you offer. Forget about perfection, focus on action!

Second, if you major in minor things, you will never get to the big things. Almost everybody who starts a business gets stuck at a certain level. They get so busy handling the minutia of the business, like email, correcting things, follow-up calls, writing messages or proposals and responding to totally bogus inquiries. If you major in minor things, you will never get to the type of income you want and level of success that you desire.

Instead of being constantly busy with small things, keep the big picture in mind all the time and stay crystal clearly focused on the final outcome and important things.

The third reason why most people do not achieve success they dream of is lack of support. If you don't have a team to rely on, cheer you on and do some of the things you don't know how to do or are not good at, you're shooting yourself in the foot to begin with.

If you find yourself asking, "How do I do that?" all the time, it's an indicator that you don't have a strong enough team or that you're attempting to do things you shouldn't be doing in the first place.

What makes you money are things you're probably already very good at. Your brilliance is the unique skill you possess. When you do it, magic happens, and money flows. You know how to do it excellently with your eyes closed at midnight, half asleep.

When you start asking how to do certain things and get stuck and slow down the growth of your business, it means you don't have the right support team in place yet. Unfortunately, that's a big issue for a lot of people.

To achieve success you want forget about perfection and DO the best you can do at the moment; don't be bogged down by small things, keep your vision in mind at all the times; surround yourself with people who support you in achieving your goals and who can do the things that you don't like doing or are not good at!
