Are you weighing your option to buy links to boost your website's presence in the search engines? If so, you are hopefully weighing your options to purchase one way links since these will help you the most. Some may wonder what one way links are. In a nutshell, they are links that point to your site without a reciprocal agreement that another link be placed on your site promoting the other website.

This is not to say there is anything inherently wrong with trading reciprocal links. However, the search engine robots do not see the presence and proliferation of such links to be organic and natural. As a result, they do not put a lot of value on them.

Does this mean that the search engines do not put a great deal of value on those that buy links? No, this is not the case. The search engines do not have any negative policies towards the ability to buy links.

Honestly, when one way links are placed on the net due to a purchasing agreement the search engines robots are not aware such a purchasing agreement has taken place. The robots serve the duty of crawling the internet. They are not privy (or capable of being privy) to any agreements one may devise with those in the business to buy links.

Once the one way links are placed on the internet, the robots will index them over time. Some may wish for immediate results but this is not the possible. It serves no purpose to pressure the sites that are in the business to sell and buy links in this regard since they are not in control of the search engine robots.

The way the search engine robots work is the search engines will periodically release them to scour the internet looking for one way links. As they come across these links, they make a note of where the links are pointing towards. From this, the links count as a vote of popularity towards the site the link points towards.

Of course, the more one way links you purchase, the greater your ranking in the search engines will be. However, it is also necessary to point out that not every link that you purchase or acquire will be indexed at the same time. That means it is best to buy links in the highest volume possible since this will certainly increase the odds that a large number of them will be indexed rather quickly.

A common mistake some will make is that they will buy links once and then not purchase any more one way links for the same site. This is not a wise move since you always want to be adding links over the course of the life of the website. Perhaps every two months you can place a bulk order for a number of one way links. This way, your website always maintains a sense of being alive and relevant. The search engines love such delineations and this leads to the sites maintaining higher rankings than they would without the help of the purchased links.
