The Brother MFC-7860DW, which makes use of a brother toner cartridge, is a multi function system that is suitable for either personal use or in a small office. It uses a mono laser in combination with a DR-420 drum unit and TN-450 cartridge to print and copy at speeds up to 27 pages per minute.

The auto document feed capacity is 25 pages but the total paper capacity is up to 250 pages. It is designed to print on paper up to legal sizes measuring 8.5 inches by 14 inches. The maximum print resolution is 2400 x 600 dots-per-inch.

It is more than just a printer though since it scans in color with resolutions up to 19200 by 19200 dots-per-inch and uses the Paperport 12SE & Page Manager Document viewer and OCR software.

The device also expands on capabilities with fax capabilities and memory up to 500 pages and also includes PC-FAX software and Internet faxing. It is recommended for a monthly print volume ranging from 250 to 2,000 pages and has a maximum monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages. This printer is recommended to small office. It is easy to setup, easy to use and low print supplies costs.
