Do Pick Up Lines Work?

Yet, if you are determined to use pick up lines, it will be better to read this first:

1) Practice your pickup lines a lot - Press the "record" button on your tape recorder or just stand in front of a mirror and repeat your favorite pickup lines over and over again.

From time to time change the pitch and speed of your voice. Your goal is to utter your favorite pickup lines in a sexy confident manly way.

If you are not sure how to achieve this goal, watch some James Bond movies and look at how James Bond speaks to women. Try to match your tone of voice to his.

The best method is to videotape yourself practicing your pickup lines.

By doing so you can also SEE how good or bad you are making your approach.

Notice not only what you say and how you say it, but also your facial expressions while speaking.

2) Be Unique - Women hear pickup lines from guys all the time, so make your pickup lines unique.

The way to make your pickup lines unique is to create your pick up lines FRESH, meaning, ON THE SPOT.

For example, let's say that you are trying to pick up a woman in the bank. Look around you, and try to gather valuable information from your surrounding:

- You are standing for two hours in a very long line. - It is very hot in the bank because the air conditioning doesn't work.

- The woman has a very unique bag.

- You hear someone complains about money he didn't receive.

These observations will serve as the platform for your unique pickup lines.

You need to observe the information you gathered and extract one observation which you think can be turned into the best pickup line.

3) Convert your best observation into a best pickup line. After you've selected your best observation, you can now create the perfect pickup line from it.

If we are using the example of the bank, the right kind of pickup line may be something like this:

Your BEST observation: you are standing for two hours in a very long line.

Pickup Line (option 1): Do you know a good place to buy sleeping bags because I think we are going to spend the night here?

Pickup Line (option 2): What do you say that you and I rob the place?

If you will say these pickup lines in a confident yet playful manner, you will see the fruits of your efforts sooner than later.

4) Leave your ego at home - We said before that we need to create good pickup lines from on the spot observations. The other thing you need to do is make your pickup lines interesting TO THE GIRL you are trying to pick up (not only to yourself).

You may be a football fan and you may also have observed a kid throwing a football to his brother.

Yet, it will be better not to generate a pickup line which is directly related to football because most women are not usually interested in football.

Instead ask a question which can be of a mutual interest to you and the girl you want to pick up.

5) Radiate Dominance - Women love a confident vibe in a man and as we said before, you can generate a confident vibe by how you say your pickup lines but also by the actual words you use in your pick up line.

You need to choose words that don't radiate neediness to the woman but that actually show that you are doing her a favor by talking to her.

In the same way that a dish shows the personality of a chef, pickup lines show the personality of the suitor.

If you are able to develop the kind of personality which radiates dominance, confidence, lack of egotism and individualism, even the worse "pickup line" will be a gem when it comes out of your mouth.
