Clutter is nothing but stuck energy. Energy stagnation in your homes and offices causes clutter. If you feel stuck, it is very likely that your home or your intimate spaces are filled with clutter. Healthy energy is constantly moving. When the water in the pool stagnates, it gets murky and smelly. Same thing happens with the ether that surrounds us.
Cluttered spaces make you feel tired and exhausted. They take away your creativity. Everything you own in your house or office is connected to you by strands of energy that are unexplainable by the modern science. These energy neurons are filled with vast amount of energy. When the clutter in your home is cleaned up, the energy-neurons are released and filled with vibrancy and vitality.
Sometimes, we clutter our surrounding to keep our aliveness from surfacing. Individuals who attach themselves to material things are usually most cluttered because they find the meaning of their life in their material possessions. The cultures with least material possessions are often the most spiritually wealthy cultures because the same reason.
When you get rid of everything that is meaningless and insignificant, you start feeling lighter in all possible ways. The lightness you experience is not only physical or spatial, it is also psychological and spiritual.
We may want to change our lives and improve it, however, the subconscious mind is afraid of change. It wants to keep us stuck at the same place in life because of the years of conditioning. We are actually afraid of the fear of failure to start off our new journey because of the same reason. The fear of unknown is real and we want to stay stuck at our current cluttered situation because of our fear to venture off in this journey.
De-cluttering your space has immense therapeutic benefits as well. When you clear things on an external level, there is an internal clearing that happens as well. An old saying is "what's outside is also on the inside, and vice versa".
If the channels of energy are clogged, it is impossible to experience deeper levels of serenity and joy in our lives. In order to manifest what we want in our lives, it is essential to de-clutter both externally and internally. One of the main reasons people are too afraid to de-clutter their spaces is because they have developed mental and emotional connection to the objects and clearing out these connections is very exhausting. The effects of clutter are truly negative when all the aspects are taken into account. Clearing up the clutter perks up the places and shines up your place. Start off small and get rid of all the meaningless objects to start off your de-cluttering ritual.
