Here are four critical aspects of transforming your bedroom into an oasis of love, vitality, and fulfillment by applying the traditional feng shui principles.

1.) Aroma is another aspect of your bedroom that is vitally important. Colorful fragrances bring harmony and romance to your bedroom. Avoid using potpourri because they are dried flowers. They are dead and create negative energy fields. Scented pillows, aromatherapy candles, reed diffusers, and essential oils are highly recommended. To ignite passion and love in your bedroom, try jasmine, rose, ylang-ylang, or, sandalwood oils.

2.) Inspiring artwork has a subconscious impact on your psyche. They influence your life tremendously in the long run. Moreover, positive energy is instilled in your spirit when you see an image or object that is aesthetic, inspiring, and soothing. A painting portraying beautiful natural landscape, ideally of your favorite vacation spot, or a beautiful tapestry, should be hanged directly from your bed. Avoid geometric patterns as it might clutter the energy flow and disrupt the quality of your sleep. A manifestation board is ideal for your bedroom as it displays your wishes for love, creativity, and success. When you watch your manifestation board every day before going to bed, you train your subconscious mind to follow your dreams and turn them into reality. Remove everything that has negative or sad memories from your bedroom.

3.) If you have fireplace in your bedroom, add a water feature to compensate for the fire. Change the water of your water feature often because stagnant water causes stagnation of energy in your bedroom. Water fountains are usually not recommended for the bedrooms because they produce a lot of chi, i.e. energy, however, if your bedroom has a fire place, it makes an ideal calming focal point. Turn it off at night for the calming effect.

4.) A sensual bedroom stirs your heart and energizes your relationship. A round faceted crystal when hanged from the ceiling galvanizes your love life. Consider having everything in pairs, i.e. two candles, two lamps, etc. Add one element to entice each of your five senses, e.g. play soft music, touch silky bedding, sip your favorite wine, and see and smell a bouquet of roses. Stimulate your love with your partner by placing a statue or artwork that embodies passion, playfulness, and tenderness.
