Spill Fountains are constructed in such a way that water simply follows gravity. They are perfect for small spaces because of the little over-spray.
A simple spill fountain is made of two main components: A spout and a watertight container of your choice. A small submersible pump is placed on the bottom of the container and sends water via tubing to the spout, where it is spilled out. Some fountains are designed so that the water cascades from one basin onto the next until it gets re-circulated by the pump back to the spout.

For example, using stacked geometric stones can help you create a cascading stone fountain.
Similarly, using an oil-jar as the basin, it is easy to create a jar fountain. Simply drill a hole on the base of the jar and pass a hose through that hole. Attach the hose to the pump spout and fill the jar with water. Now, simply turn on the submersible pump and enjoy the beauty of jar fountain as the trickling sounds of water relax your senses and refresh your mind.
