In fact, never expect a social gathering without bottles upon bottles of sake adorning the tables.

Drinking and eating are a big part of Japanese culture. No business is officially conducted and concluded without an exchange of sake. There are numerous bars, restaurants, and even eatery tents that cater to sake and the many small dishes that go along with it.

Alright, so why exactly, do Japanese love sake? It's really one of those drinks that would "make your chest hairs grow" or something to that extent. It's a very potent drink that becomes quite addicting once you get used to it. Other than that, it doesn't fail to make warmth spread through the drinker's system.

But why are we discussing sake?

Well, it's because there is a parallel between sake and Japanese singles.
