Get Free Content For Your Site

Article marketing is one of the best and most popular means for you to build links and generate traffic for your site. Article writing is practical and could be done for free; it's effective for drawing visitors to your site and increases your page rankings in the search engines. With a reliable keyword finder tool, you can come up with a unique keyword in the shortest time possible, land a front-page ranking and start earning immediately.

Make use of content distribution sites such as Squidoo. Using content syndication for your articles gives it more mileage and wider distribution. This way, you get to attract more readers and audience to your domain, that is, if you have a valuable and decent article for your site. Make sure that these articles target the population that you would want to generate backlinks and traffic from.

So to set-up your very own Squidoo lens, just follow these simple steps:

1. Sign up and register to Squidoo, it's completely free and easy. Log in and create a "lens", that's what the Squidoo site uses as substitute to a blog or article. Before you do so, let me remind you to read through the Terms of Service, the FAQs and understand and respect the Squidoo environment and users.

2. Set up a lens and you will first need to fill up these boxes:

Step 1: What's your lens about?

Step 2: What's the goal for your page? You get to choose from a list and just pick out what you want and click.

Step 3: Create a Title and Url for your Squidoo page.

Step 4: Add keyword or tags for your page so that people can easily find it.

3. Now you will be redirected to a page which you can set-up your Squidoo lens. You can choose the modules or applications that you want. You can modify the default page and make it more personal. Take time to view the different modules and add the ones which you think you can benefit from in your lens.

Always add a unique and fresh content for your lens. Add keywords but stay focused on your theme. Add a description to every module; add a title or subtitle. Leaving it as it is, is a big turn off on the outcome for the default title will show up, like "Text Module"; so change it. Use the bold, italics and underline to highlight your keywords.

You can use html to customize your page. You can also add pictures and graphics.

4. Proceed to your personal biography or bio and make sure you fill that. This is whenever your readers would want to know more about you and or your domain. Again, don't just leave it as a default. If you have a pen name, then use it and make your biography credible.

5. Save your draft or publish it. You can view the finished lens on your dashboard. Now you have an additional vehicle for your domain in Squidoo. You'll have more links to your site from readers in Squidoo. It can work on its own and eventually creep up on the Google's ranking page.
