A forum is a website where people can register and post their opinions about different topics. The website forum, itself, has one general topic of discussion and it has various smaller forums about different subtopics. It is very easy to register to a forum but some message boards have varying rules about posting a topic or replying to an earlier post. For example, one forum might require their new members to first gather ten replies before they can starts a new thread of conversation or topic.
Becoming a member of a forum is very easy and one can become a member of different forums at the same time. There are forums for cancer patients and survivors, there are forums that help military family cope with the stress and worry of not having their sons, husbands, and fathers around while some forums help other netizens with do it yourself projects. A webmaster forum is a message board that is dedicated to help webmasters or web developers design a good website that will be easy to organize, maintain, and navigate. Members of this kind of forum range from beginners to expert.
Usually, forums have a subforum where they can meet and interact with other members. There, they can ask tips, advise, and support from other webmasters. Webmasters are also called web architects. They are responsible in creating website, themes for websites, and the overall development of everything that a person sees on the internet. These people are not only great with graphics and drawing, they are also experts in converting their works into HTML source codes and java programming.
Since being a webmaster is one of the coolest jobs, more and more people have been trying their lucks with web designing. A webmaster forum is typically the place where a newbie web architect goes to look for different techniques that only seasoned developers know.
It is very easy to register in a webmaster forum. Just like any other internet registration, the person will be asked to supply his name and email address. He should also prepare a unique username and password. When the internet was fairly new, forums and various websites still allowed their members to have four-digit passwords but nowadays, they require passwords to be at least six-digits long and with different alphabets and numerical characters. It is also very important to answer a security question in case the person forgets his username or password. Lastly, a valid email address should be supplied. Some forums send verification emails before they approve the forum account. This is very important to prove that the person is not a computer and that his intentions are genuine.
