How can a pig also be a snake? The answer: when it is a product that you use to absorb water in and around your home. As crazy as it sounds, these specific solutions can be named after either one of these animals, although the first is in reference to a proprietary brand, while the second is merely a term that describes the flexibility of the product .

Whether you want to call it a pig or a snake, it nevertheless should be considered a vital accessory to have in and around your home. You will likely be calling it something a lot more pleasant than a snake if it happens to save your precious belongings from the threat of approaching water.

Many people use these to absorb leaks and to keep floors safer and dryer. Often, tanks and other machinery can spring a leak or "sweat", and it's good to have these absorbent products on hand when a problem originates.

We never know what's around the corner, but there is truly no reason for being unprepared when there are so many solutions to help us should we only look for them.

So, when you're ready to open the zoo in your garage and start to welcome in pigs and snakes, consider just how incredibly thankful you will be when an emergency does indeed arise, calling for you to break them out.
