One problem many men face when they are single is how to meet a woman. You would not think that would be hard to do with millions of single women in this world.

Sometimes these problems are with the men themselves. They lack self confidence or are not comfortable meeting women.

It could also be a time issue as many men are very busy. They just do not have time outside of their careers to get out and meet women.

1. Join an online dating site. eHarmony is the most popular online dating site, but there are many more to choose from.

For example did you know that Match.com has 20,000 people joining them every day? Yahoo Personals has over 10 million singles which should give you plenty of choices.

Online dating works well for both busy men and for those who are shy and need a little time to get to know a woman. Just remember there are millions of women trying to meet men as well.

2. Social networking sites can be a good place to meet women and make friends in general. Facebook is the most popular today, but there are other options as well.

LinkIn is more for professionals who want to hang out with other professionals. Twitter is a great way to build a followers list and keep them up to date on what you are doing posting Tweets of 140 characters or less.

Building a friends list is not hard to do. There are many articles and tips online on how to quickly do this.

3. Join a singles group in your area. This is a good idea as you will meet people who live and work in the same area as you.

You can start by just going out to local events. Joining local organizations is a good way to meet women who have similar interests in charities or non-profit organizations.

4. How about church? You can certainly meet a woman with the same religious beliefs as you at church.

This is important for down the road as you eliminate arguments over how to raise your children. This takes a lot of the pressure off too as you will meet women in a natural way that could lead to dating in the future.
