How long have you been looking for a reasonable price for a tutu? If you have little a little girl, than the answer is probably a while. A lot of little girls like to dance.They see beautifully performed ballets and idolize the ballerinas. Before you know, you will be getting birthday lists and Christmas lists, and every other lists possible, all including the word "tutu" or "ballet shoes".

Finding the right materials:

There are plenty of materials in which you can make a tutu out of, you just have to find the one that she prefers. So let's say that she loves the feel of satin, than you know it would make perfect little bows, and if she likes silk, you know that it would make a perfect waist band. But one of the most importance things is the color. What color is her favorite? Pink? Purple? Blue? Red? Whatever it is that her little heart desires, then find the material. Stores don't always have the colors that you want, so make sure you ask the help for the color, and if a certain material is coming anytime soon.

Sewing:

Make sure you use the right sewing machine, and if you have never used one, than it's probably best to hand sew. Yes, hand sew. I know it takes way longer, but you don't want to make mistakes and then rip holes in the fabric you spent your money on. Ask for tips or help from anyone that you know who can sew. Sewing is not as easy as it looks. So don't get upset of you have to restart once or twice. Be patient, and you will succeed. It just takes a little time, patience and fun! That's what you need to remember, have fun! Think about the surprise and joy on her face when she opens up the pretty little present.
