Whether you are searching for the perfect bridal shower or wedding present, or simply looking for an impromptu gift, shopping for the bride-to-be can be a lot of fun. Becoming engaged and getting married is usually a very special time in a woman's life, so it can be quite enjoyable to add to the memories by giving her a little gift. The bride-to-be will probably be registered at a number of different stores, so you can always peruse these to find things that you know she would like to receive as a gift. However, it can also be fun to give her a gift that you know she'll love, but which is not listed on the registry. Here are some great items that could be the perfect gift for the bride-to-be in your life.

Honeymoon Gifts

Giving a bride a gift that she can use on her honeymoon can be a lot of fun. If you know where the couple plans to go, a travel guide for their destination could be a gift that would be very appreciated. A scrapbook designed to hold photos and mementos from their honeymoon would also be a nice gift. You could also give her a couple of special picture frames so she can frame her favorite honeymoon photos when she gets home. If the bride does not already have a digital camera, giving her one as a shower present would be an unexpected but welcome gift. Not only can she use the camera on her honeymoon, but she can also use it to take photos of her bridal shower as well as other wedding preparations.

Engagement and Wedding Scrapbook

If the bride-to-be is a family member or a close friend, you could create the perfect gift without her even knowing. Just take your camera with you to her pre-wedding parties and preparations, taking photos of the events and festivities. Then, use the photos to create the ultimate scrapbook, and present it to her as a wedding gift. Be sure to leave the last several pages empty so that she can add a few favorite photos from the reception and honeymoon. If you are related to or are a friend of the groom, compiling a photo album or scrapbook containing photos of the groom as he was growing up as well as photos of his family could make a unique gift that would be much appreciated. You could even place a few photos of the groom as a young boy in picture frames as a fun gift for his future wife.

The Gift of Relaxation

Although planning a wedding can be a lot of fun, it can also be quite stressful at times. A gift certificate to her favorite spa, hair salon or nail salon could be the perfect gift to help her relax and unwind. You could even make your own gift certificate booklet for her, including coupons that she can redeem for things you could do to help her with her wedding preparations.

Though these gift ideas are simple, your soon-to-be wedded friend is sure to love them.
