And while I am a huge believer of the internet and I think it is a wonderful instrument for your business, I still believe in the power of going to your local MLM meetings and mingling with the people who are a part of your MLM business locally. More and more Internet Marketers I find are unwilling to go to a meeting but here are 4 reasons why I believe you should even if you don't truly want to. I hope that they will give you enough reason to think twice about NOT going to your local MLM meetings. 1. Get Support: Network Marketing is a great way to make a living; however, sometimes it can be really frustrating! There is a lot of rejection and a lot of negativity if you let it bother you. That is one of the reasons people end up quitting, because they can't handle the rejection. Sometimes you can feel very alone and that's why you need to get out there to your local MLM meetings and communicate with folks who have been through similar things. Once you see that it's not just you or that you're not doing anything wrong, you will probably feel better and more inclined to face the approaching week. 2. Get Knowledge: There are folks at the meetings that can show you a lot. At most local MLM meetings there are folks of all levels of the business, from those who are just starting out to people who have been very successful. It's always beneficial no matter what you're doing to be able to spend time with the people who have had success. Learn from them and pick their brains as much as you can. It can make a real difference for you! 3. Get Motivated: Sometimes you just need to see that success is possible. That's what makes local meetings so powerful. Listening to product testimonials or ideas of overcoming difficulties will motivate you and make you want to go out there and achieve more in the upcoming week. Sometimes we all need a little motivation. 4. Inspire others: Sometimes you need the meeting and sometimes the meeting needs you! Just because you haven't reached your goal yet does not mean that you can't be an inspiration to others, you never know who is watching you and getting motivated by your story. So even if you don't want to go for yourself, go for the individual who is going to look at you and get motivated.
