I'll just bet that like most people, you can't resist a snack. It can be so frustrating to exercise, or train hard, but just end up snacking when you get home, ruining all your good intentions.

But don't feel alone; EVERYONE has a failing - and kryptonite in biscuit form is the most addictive!

But how would you like to be able to indulge your sweet tooth and STILL get a flat stomach?

The trick is to harness the power of your subconscious mind. When you try and get motivated to do something good, or stop yourself from doing something bad, it is your subconscious mind that drives most of your behaviour.

When there is an immediate physical response to your behaviour, you are a lot quicker to give up those things that are harmful for you:

fire = burn = pain, so you don't stick your hand in a flame

sharp knife = cut = pain, so you are careful when handling blades

biscuits = tasty = belly fat a few days later, which is not really an immediate deterrent, is it?

So what I do with my clients is to train their subconscious minds to reject harmful habits - not with pain, obviously! - but with an ingrained, automated response that discourages excessive and unhealthy snacking.

You can still enjoy your biscuit treats, but you won't crave them to excess as your mind will automatically associate them with discomfort, and choose the healthier option.

And how easy will it be to get a flat stomach when you’re programming your mind to eat delicious healthy food? With no conscious effort at all?

Ready to try?

DO NOT THINK ABOUT A BLUE KANGAROO

I bet you thought about a blue kangaroo didn’t you?! And the harder you tried not to think about it, the more you thought about it!

So where did the blue kangaroo come from, as I doubt you've ever seen one? It’s simple…it came from your subconscious mind.

THINK ABOUT EATING DELICIOUS, HEALTHY FOOD!

Have you thought about some delicious healthy food?

Let’s try…

DO NOT THINK ABOUT EATING DELICIOUS HEALTHY FOOD!

Are you still thinking about eating delicious, healthy food?

There really is power in positive thinking, and negative thinking can be beneficial for the wrong reasons!

So why does it feel better when you say Do Not?

That’s easy too: no one likes to do as they’re told all of the time (and some people even prefer NOT to do what they’re told, ever!)

The same goes for your subconscious mind. You can install a command without ever realising it by saying ‘Do NOT do something’

Try putting ‘DO NOT EAT DELICIOUS HEALTHY FOOD’ on your fridge and your shopping list.

Out of those 5 words, 4 tell you to eat delicious healthy food. You will be installing the command to eat delicious healthy food into your mind several times every single day, but it won't feel pious or preachy as, on the surface, it gives you permission to eat any old thing! But because you WANT to be thinner, your subconscious mind will nudge you in the right direction.

So go ahead - don't think of a blue kangeroo or eating healthy food, and see how easy it will be to stop snacking and get a flat tummy!
