The online entrepreneur is a crafty one. He must be able to think way outside the box and really, truly believe in what he is going after. This is a different breed from mom and dad's little business on the corner. Working on the Internet means so many things to me. It means, fear and excitement, joy and sadness, and it will always mean a chance at reaching your dreams.

When building a business online you have a shot at competing with the big companies. If you can master the art of Internet science and directing people to a series of web pages there really are no limitations in growth possibilities.

I still work out of the un-finished basement in my home. Some people would say I am just "small time" or whatever, but guess what?, I average over 60,000 combined visitors to web sites that I created and run. I have no employees, other than my wife and myself, and we get to stay home with the kids. Imagine 2,000 visitors a day to your typical brick and mortar business... It would be staggering. Yea, "small time" is fine with us.

Being an online entrepreneur does require some real personal drive and commitment to learn and understand your trade, as does any thing you are doing for the first time. People need to be so careful about who to trust and what they read in the early start up stages. Some of the ad copy out there is real good. That fancy copy promising the world, can suck in both the amateur as well as the advanced online entrepreneur very easily. You need to wear blinders at all times, commit to a goal and do not stray from it ever.

So here is the real great thing. If you have a computer with an Internet connection and a lot of heart, you can reach some ridiculous goals in a real short period of time. When I was building my offline business selling copiers and supplies it took me over 10 years to even be able to leave my full time job. Then when I did, I very quickly realized that without the power of the Internet in my corner, I would not last long on my own. The online entrepreneur was created by God's grace within me, and came alive on the key board.

This is kind of a retrospect view for me. It feels good to look back and see how being an online entrepreneur has changed my life, and thankfully the lives of many others we have worked with. Search your heart and you will find your dreams. The Internet can make them a reality. God bless.
