It has often been said that if you keep doing the same things, you will keep getting the same results. So for all of you who have been unsuccessful with old school network marketing techniques, this should be all too familiar.

I know, I know, but it's comfortable to stay with the familiar you're probably saying. Naturally staying within your comfort zone is calming, but if you want to have the success that you are looking for you will need to try some new MLM methods. By keeping within your own predetermined boundaries you are limiting yourself and hindering your chances to succeed. However, by trying new MLM techniques and stirring up your patterns occasionally you give yourself the opportunity to broaden your horizons.

It is true that we are all compelled to follow our preset routines. While this holds true for business as well, it is to your benefit that you try and mix things up a little bit. In doing this you may feel uncomfortable and have the urge to revert back to your old habits. Resist the urge. If you never try anything new you will have the sames results that you've always had and remain stagnant.

In this highly competitive and quickly changing business that is continually adding new MLM technology, there is no time for you to remain in your box. Not only are you limiting yourself, but you are allowing other competitors to pass you by. It's time to open yourself up to expanding your knowledge and therefore your life.

So what kinds of things should you be doing to expand your comfort zone with MLM techniques. There are several small things that you can do.

1) Start Getting Educated

Begin to do some detailed research online as to what methods are working for others.

2) Create An Effective Capture Page

Design a capture page that presents yourself and your opportunity in a simple, concise manner. You do not want the site to give every detail imaginable about your company. Rather, the 1 page site should be used to generate traffic. Make sure to include a personal audio or video message and a place for prospects to enter their contact information.

3) Have An Autoreponder

This will allow you to be freed up immensely as your prospects will be receiving messages from you periodically. Instead of you having to call them back every day, your system will be working for you.

4) Find a mentor

Find someone who you admire what they are doing online and begin to learn from them. This will also speed up your learning curve.

By stepping out and trying some new techniques, you will begin to build the confidence that you need to continue to take more risks. By learning and expanding your knowledge base, you will be armed with the necessary weapons to stay ahead of your competition.
