2. Pre-sell your customers before passing them through to the affiliate website. All you have to do is look at the top affiliate producers in any program to see this is the best strategy.
You can go about pre-selling your customers a number of ways. For example you can write review articles and post them on your blog where readers can view the article before going to the sales page.
You can also promote landing pages and build an email marketing list. Use your email messages to presell your potential customers before sending them through to your affiliate website.
Both review pages and email marketing are an excellent way to warm your customer up before you send them to the affiliate sales page. When you do this you can get by on less traffic and your conversion rates will be higher because your visitor has been pre-sold by you.
Once you get your own system in place you can make as much money as you want. It still comes down to traffic to a certain extent, but you can venture into numerous niches and create even more money making websites.
