One minute they are hot and the next, they are cold. When they get cold and you and your girlfriend end up fighting, it can easily lead to a breakup. Even if that's not what the two of you really want to happen, it can. The trick is, to make sure that you don't allow a small little bump in the road break up a good thing. If you want to get back with your girlfriend, and it means a lot to you, you can easily end up chasing after your girlfriend. And that is NEVER a good thing. What should you do instead of chasing after her? 1. You have to man up about things. That means you have to be able to take responsibility for your part in whatever made the relationship break up and it also means that you cannot resort to childish behavior. Like chasing after her. Sure, it might sound like a good thing to do when you are caught up in the moment, but when you look back in hind sight, you will see that it is the WRONG choice to make. And it can easily drive her away for good. Not a winning hand for you or for her. 2. You have to show her respect. By this, you cannot go around and start acting jealous when you find out that she is talking to someone else. You cannot call her names to make yourself feel good and make her look like the bad guy. Not if you want to get her back. You have to show her that you respect her and the situation by being big about things. You also have to allow her the proper amount of time that she needs to cool off. 3. You have to really pursue her as if she was not an ex-girlfriend, but a new woman in your life. Sounds a little strange, I know. But, to a woman, romance and the feeling of falling in love all over again is incredibly powerful. When you can trick yourself into seeing her as a new woman, then you will do those things to sweep her off of her feet. You will flirt with her and be playful when you are with her. You will make her smile and think about you all of the time. And if all goes well, you will be back at the point where you are able to be intimate with her again.
