There are literally an endless amount of mistakes that you can make trying to get back with your ex girlfriend. Emotions run over and people say things in moments that they wish they could take back, and the situation just gets worse and worse. When you are dealing with the cold hard facts of a breakup with your ex girlfriend, it's easy to get lost in a sea of confusion and lose your common sense approach to winning her back.

There are some mistakes that are going to do more to hurt your cause in winning her back then they are to win her over.

Here are some of the mistakes that you NEVER want to make if you really want to win her back:

1. You cannot get caught up in the game of trying to cast blame on your ex girlfriend. This is a lost cause. It does not matter if there were times when you felt that she was in the wrong. When you want to get her back, it's not at all the time to get caught up trying to let her know of her faults and the things she did wrong. You are not going to win a woman back by making her feel bad about things.

2. You also cannot get caught up in trying to win over her friends or family. This is just going to bite you in the rear end. If you think that you can win her back just by winning over her friends or her family, you might want to think again. More often than not, this will lead to resentment on the part of your ex and what happens when she feels this way? She's going to be glad that she left and she will not be tempted to come back to you.

3. You cannot get caught in a tailspin where you let your life go down the tubes. I know a lot of guys that have really let their entire lives just crumble apart when they break up with their girlfriend. I've known guys that have lost their jobs because they would rather stay at home and feel upset over breaking up. You have to know that if she does come back to you, it's going to be because of attraction. If you allow your life to come undone, what will she be attracted to?

4. You cannot just hope that something will happen and she will come back. You have to take an active stance in winning her back. If you are waiting for something magical to happen to bring your girlfriend back to you, you are likely to face disappointment. You have to take action and work towards winning her back.
