Let me tell you right now that EVERY man knows what it is like to breakup with a woman and then realize that he wants her back more than anything. This is a very common experience, and you don't have to assume that you are stuck in a rut that no one else can relate to.

When you go through this, one of your first reactions will be to try and plan to get your girlfriend back. What you want to do is to carefully think through and weight out the possibilities of what can happen when you try and get your girlfriend back.

So, what are some things that you should think about BEFORE you plan to get your girlfriend back?

1. You have to weigh out whether or not you are ready to go through the ups and the downs. It's almost inevitable that it's not going to be one smooth ride when you try and win back your girlfriend. There will be days when it seems like all hope is lost, and there will be ones when it seems like you are right on track. Identify whether or not you are ready to deal with this emotional roller coaster of sorts.

2. You have to honestly answer whether or not too much damage was done. I won't kid you, if the breakup was painful, or if you did something really bad to make her want to breakup with you, it's not going to be EASY. You are going to have to work that much harder to try and win her back. And sometimes, there is just too much to wade through, too many problems to overcome. While you may not want to hear this right now, it is something you should think about.

3. She must know that you have made PERMANENT changes. No matter what the situation was, it's obvious that something had to change. Otherwise your ex-girlfriend would not have become your ex-girlfriend. Because of this, you have to be able to demonstrate to your ex-girlfriend that you HAVE made changes and that they are not just to try and win her back. If she thinks that things will just go back to the ways that they were, you might not be able to get her back.
