3. Pastas - Pasta have carbohydrates that are required for your body during muscle building. The minimum daily requirement for increasing muscle mass is 45 grams.

4. Fish - This is rich in protein and has important nutrients your body will need during muscle building.

5. Fresh fruits and vegetables - These also provide your body with essential nutrients during the muscle building process and will give you much needed energy.

6. Whole grains - This food is high in carbohydrates and will help the proteins and other nutrients work quicker for building muscles.

7. Lean meats - Turkey, chicken and even lean beef is good to eat when building muscle. Just be sure you do not eat too much of it and that the meat you do eat is lean so you are not adding bad fat to your body.

These are the most essential foods to build muscle, but definitely not all of the ones you need to know about. Take time to learn about all the right foods to eat so you can successfully build muscle.
