People with hemorrhoids have been pigeonholed by the comics or comedians to be laughing stocks. That's the reason why fewer folk with this condition have a tendency to visit a doctor. Rather, they would rather wait for the pain to subside and just worry about it another time, especially if the agony becomes chronic.

If you are actually concerned about getting hemorrhoids, living a healthy way of life will benefit you a lot. Here are three causes of hemorrhoids.

Pregnancy:

Pregnancy can cause a woman to extend chances of having hemorrhoids. The reason is because the anal veins will be coerced more thanks to the added weight in the uterus. For girls who are experiencing hemorrhoids, pregnancy can aggravate the problem.

Ladies who are pregnant who do not experience piles while carrying a child may still get piles during labor. This is thanks to the long and arduous delivery.

One more reason is the constipation a woman experiences after birth. Due to the love in the anal sphincter and perianal area, ladies will take longer with bowel movements. Hemorrhoids during pregnancy is one thing a number of new mothers have to deal with.

Delaying Bowel Movements:

There are certain folk who are scared to empty out away from home because the toilet might be grimy. Another reason is that there is just no toilet nearby. So folk will attempt to force the material back inside for two more hours. Doing this sometimes can do no harm. But if it becomes incessant it can possibly lead to piles.

As the substance stays in the fecal colon, it will become harder and drier. This makes it more work to pass. You'll then be required to work more to get it out.

The rectal muscles that signal a person it's the time to empty out could also become weaker. For example, try to imagine that you all of a sudden have a bowel movement in your pants as you failed to feel anything.

Diseases:

A number of illnesses can be causes of hemorrhoids. One disease that will cause hemorrhoids is rectal cancer. The reason being because colonic cancer will make the person have 'false' calls of nature. It will then cause the person to go the bathroom more often and spend more time straining.

Folk who abuse alcohol will actually make their livers larger. This may then create additional pressure on the rectal veins. Other diseases which will also cause hemorrhoids are crabby bowel syndrome and intestinal cancer. These illnesses cause bowel obstruction or interfere with ordinary elimination.

There are other causes of hemorrhoids besides these three. While experiencing hemorrhoids while pregnant often cannot be helped, a healthy lifestyle will help prevent hemorrhoids overall, even while expecting a baby.
