When change comes knocking on our door it often first shows up in the form of a restlessness or dissatisfaction with the status quo. If we choose to answer the door and take the opportunity to create something new looking at the elements of our life can help pave the way. The four major ones are the elements of time, money, space, and energy. How we interact with these elements shapes how we experience our reality. When we try to make changes in our lives assessing what's not working in these four elements helps us move forward with ease and grace, and less frustration and overwhelm. If there is an area in your life where you feel stuck take a look at these four areas and see if you can clear away what's no longer serving you to make room for changes that will serve you.

The elusive element of time, there are only so many minutes in a day. For many of us this fast paced world has us with far too much on our 'To Do' list than could possibly fit in any day. When we feel like we can never get it all done time becomes restrictive making us feel boxed in and constricted. By shifting your perception and looking at time as a chance to honor your values it becomes expansive. Take a look at where your time is spent and compare it to what is most important to you. Begin to eliminate 'shoulds' , other people's ideas of what needs to be done, ask for help or assign tasks to others, say no to requests that are not in alignment with your current plan, and create strong boundaries around your time. This frees up time that you can use to create the changes you are wanting.

Money is such a land mine of limiting beliefs that most people would rather talk about their intimate love life than their financial status. This takes up a lot of energy and really keeps us stuck. Really money is just a symbol of exchange, but we attach so much emotional value to it that it's hard to get to the root of it. Keeping a log of your money where you spend it and where it comes from along with the experience and your feelings associated with the transaction is a powerful tool to uncover limiting beliefs . These limiting beliefs lead you to discover areas of resistance and abundance. Clearing out the resistance and amplifying the abundance creates the space needed for a new experience with money.

Our space or environment that we surround ourselves with has a significant impact on the way we experience change. When we hold on to everything there is no flow and there is no room for anything new. Take a look around your space for cluttered areas, rooms, corners, work space, or your car. These areas are showing you where there is no movement no room for anything new. According to Feng Shui different areas of your house affect different areas in your life. Removing clutter in general clears the way for something new to show up. It doesn't have to be done all at once; choosing one area to focus on can have a noticeable effect. If you are trying to attract something new into your life take a look at the corresponding area either using Feng Shui or your intuition. For example to attract a new relationship you may want to look at your bedroom.

How much energy we have to move about our day is multifaceted. Though interrelated there is physical energy, emotional energy, mental energy, and spiritual energy. How we integrate change is directly affected by the amount of energy we have. The basics like the amount of sleep we are getting, eating healthy foods, and exercising affects how much physical energy we have as well as form a basis for the other types of energy. Replenishing each type of energy is vital to creating the forward movement for change. Taking time for self care is a way to replenish emotional energy. While learning something new can recharge mental energy, and meditation replenishes spiritual energy. When we take a few minutes to replenish our energy we have the reserves needed to actively participate in the changes we desire.

The key to navigating change is to take stock of the four major elements looking for areas that are no longer in alignment with where you want to be. When we do this it allows us to free up the space to actively participate in the change and to release the things that are no longer a fit for what we are creating.
