Do you want to discover how persistent you are with your online business? Do you know your strengths and weaknesses as far as persistence is concerned? In one of my previous articles, I emphasized the significance of being persistent and I mentioned various ways of training yourself to become persistent. But for you to do it effectively, it's logical to first ascertain your persistent levels. How persistent are you?

Well, I would like to draw your mind on some of the basic leading questions that will enable you to discover your strengths and weakness with an intention of ascertaining your persistence levels. By genuinely answering these questions, you will be carrying out a self-assessment exercise, which is the first step towards knowing how persistent you are.

That said, I would like to ask you to take some reasonable time to answer realistically the following questions. It's important to jot down your responses, one by one. If at the end of this exercise you discover that your strengths exceed your weaknesses, it will mean that your persistence levels are high. But if your weaknesses are more than your strengths, you have to begin straight away working on those weak areas to uplift your persistence levels. If you do this simple exercise well, I have no doubt that you will get to discover how persistent you are and work towards improvement or strengthening.

1. Do you have a clear reason for what you want to achieve in your business?

2. Do you always find yourself postponing your decisions, plans and actions?

3. Are you interested in acquiring new knowledge and skills and use them to grow your business and to improve your livelihood?

4. Do you find yourself suspicious and unable to make essential decisions in your business and in your life?

5. Do you feel self-satisfied with your success, what you are and what you have?

6. Do you feel unconcerned about matters or difficulties you come across in your business or in your life?

7. Do you always or sometimes transfer the blame to others for any errors made by you?

8. Do you have a strong aspiration or passion to do online business?

9. Do you make plans to guide you in your work?

10. Do you work according to your written plan or you find yourself doing things at random?

11. Do you feel like quitting when you are faced with some temporary defeat in your business or endeavors?

12. When people identify opportunities for you, do you withdraw or keep a deaf ear to them?

13. Do you wish instead of taking the desired action?

14. How motivated are you to work towards financial security or becoming rich?

15. Do you believe in working hard to make money or you believe in luck and easy ways of getting money?

16. Do you fear to come up with your own plans and put them into action because of being criticized by others?

17. Do you have the love and enthusiasm to do what you plan to do?

18. Do you believe in being a manager of your own or you prefer working for others?

19. Do you believe in achieving what you intend to do?

20. Do you follow your plans, activities and tasks up to the end?

If you took some moments to reflect on the above questions and to analyze them, you now have a deeper understanding of yourself as far as your persistence levels are. The analysis may have led you to discover your strengths and weaknesses.

If you answered positively to questions 1, 3, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19 and 20, you have strength in each of them and a negative response implies a weakness. But if you answered positively to questions 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13 and 16, you have a weakness in each of them and a negative response reflects your strength. How persistent are you?
