Most people thought by going to slimming centres to lose weight is a misconception, the most important is how you can stop eating without feeling hungry and still be happy.

Losing weight is a gradual process, it cannot produce immediate results, and you need to have a mindset that obesity is a disease and by losing weight is for the sake of health instead of beauty alone.

Actually most weight-loss pills have yoyo effect, because these pills makes people less hungry and when less food is taken, the muscle is reduced, so does the body energy.

After the body energy is lowered to certain level, and when you stop taking the pills to resume normal eating the energy from the food intake will exceed the level that you need, so it is pointless to take those pills without any form of exercise which will usually return to obesity.

Even though pills are known to block some fats that you had ate but that does not really helps much because inside your body also contain sugar and carbohydrate which you over consume.

Pills provided by some slimming centres can be effective in weight loss, but may contains thyroid hormone which accordingly to some experts that it is malpractice, because it can cause side effects like tiredness, heart shake, and even leads to hyperthyroid.

To lose weight it should be a diet food plan and some physical exercise to reduce risky side effects which may cause sufferings to obese people.

Now let's look at some of these lose weight practices and remedies;

- First and foremost, is the self determination and perseverance to lose those ugly lumps here and there, do not expect immediate results, do not give up easily.

- Do not skip meals, eat four to five small meals, do not skip breakfast, make sure you fill your stomach to avoid hunger pangs later in the day, do not eat a lot in evenings because you do not have much activities to burn the energy.

- You have to eat slowly, concentrate while you eat, chew well and swallow the food, it will take a while before the brain can register that it is full, by eating slowly you give your body enough time to notify the brain that you have enough, therefore you eat less.

- Drink 2 glasses of water before meal which act as an appetite suppressant by keeping your stomach full fending off dehydration, which lead to false craving for food.

- Avoid soft drinks and sugary water which add sugar to your body, instead eat more fruits which contain fibre.
