Have No Fear. Here's How You Find Great Women In Your Town

All guys at one point or another have wondered where are all the great women are hanging out. We joke about one day walking into a room and finding it packed full of gorgeous women that are funny and smart and that is the "aha" moment and then we will laugh at how we wasted our time at clubs and bars and other high pressure places when all the great women were here all along. Won't that be fun? I no longer need to look because I have found a great one but I don't mind passing along these tips. It occurred to me the other day when I heard some younger guys moaning and groaning about this very topic. The irony is that this advice will probably fall on deaf ears if you are under 28 because you know it all right now. But the cliché about the two most important decisions in your life are where you go to college and who you marry is so true and will always be true.

Nightclubs and bars don't work and will just delay the inevitable disappointment for several reasons but here are the main two. First, they are dark and you're never really sure who you are meeting. It's hard to talk and get to know them and it's really hard to even tell what they look like. We've all had that moment when we see that person in the light and it can be a wake-up call. The other reason it doesn't work is intoxication. I have no problem with drinking and having fun but if you are there to meet someone I think that is a rough way to begin. Kind of like building that house on sand; there is a chance it will stay up but the odds are against you.

The first non-obvious place is the coffee shop. No, not the gas station or quik-e-mart but the more upscale places like Starbucks and Peet's or better yet the really hip ones you find in the city that don't have the big brand name. I don't know what it is but there is a constant flow of beautiful women here. Not only are they beautiful but they are dressed in business suits and looking sharp. You'll also find another type here; the reader. She's not dressed for work or to be picked up but she is gorgeous with her hair up and reading for school or pleasure. As I am writing this I took a break to talk to a beautiful girl next to me (this is the absolute truth) and I was completely impressed. As if I had to prove my point again.

The second place on the list is the book store. I know, it sounds boring. You might not be a reader and that is problem number one. Reading not only adds wisdom but also makes you more interesting. So get out and spend a couple of hours at Barnes and Noble. Don't look obvious but take a walk around and browse different sections of the store. Better yet, grab a few books that you find interesting and head to the coffee shop part of the store. Sit and relax and everyone once in a while check out who's around you.

The last place is by far the best and probably as good as the sum total of two through ninety nine. Not only are the women here beautiful but happy too. Guys, you never want to date or worse yet marry an unhappy woman. That is a slow death. Get your butt over to church. I don't mean the old churches that have been around for 100 years that are cold and scary. I mean the new non-denominational churches that are popping up all over. I continue to be amazed at the high quality of women from all ages that attend these churches. This new style of church was weird to me in the beginning but I have grown to really like it. These women not only look good but dress well. And they are so happy. I think that is because they have a purpose in life. I won't get spiritual on you right now but understanding Jesus and what he was all about really adds purpose and dimension to life. And if you want an extra bonus, go ahead and volunteer for helping people around your community through the church. Not only will it make you feel better but women will see you in a great light (no pun intended.)

Meeting the right woman can lift you to new heights or drag you way down. We can rattle off some examples of people you know but no need. I wish I had understood these tips many years ago because this topic did in fact cause me some stress. I got lucky because I found mine by accident. Maybe someone did tell me this and I didn't listen. It's your choice now.
