I attended a birthday party for a friend at a restaurant this week. There were approximately a dozen gal pals that showed up to celebrate.

We had a good time together with the help of some tasty wine, beer and appetizers. Even our personal bartender was exceptional by taking care of our every need!

I was talking to one of my hockey mom pals and in my true nature, was giving her some lip about taking her cell phone to church. I argued that you can give one hour to God without the handy dandy addictive cell phone.

She argued she needed it as her 15 year old son broke his collarbone that Sunday snowboarding and was home recuperating alone. The cell phone represented her modern day communication comfort blanket.

As we bantered back and forth, I knew I was about to get 'hit' with a good verbal sparing blow. I even said as I bent to shield my ears, "here it comes." ( knowing full well I deserved it! )

Much to my surprise, my friend opted for the high road. She responded with

" I know you love me, unconditionally..."

There was a brief moment of shock that I did not get hit with a punch or a blow, but was greeted with a heart stopping compliment. Actually I do not even remember what she said after the word unconditionally. My mind was trying to absorb her words.

All I could think of were the power of her words. How she stoppped the conversation with these words.

My immediate reaction was to give her a kiss and tell her I loved her. She certainly won that verbal sparing battle. Case closed, contest over, turn out the lights! Unconditional love won this battle, hands down!

She was absolutely right, it did not matter what she did or said to me, I do love her unconditionally. The power of unconditional love stopped this verbal bantering and led to a moment of love. What a powerful statement. A true friend indeed I do have.

I thank God for my friends who I love unconditionally and those who love me. It represents the strength of our friendship and soul connection.

Who are your unconditional friends? Can you say it does not matter because I love you unconditionally? Do you recognize unconditional love in your friends, family, connections?

There is power in knowing your friends love you unconditionally.

  • The African Science of Death (Yamaya Cruz)
I am amazed that even today, many people believe that African religions are all about silly superstitions and myths that cannot be validated. Slowly, we are beginning to understand many of the concepts of African religions through the science of quantum physics.

  • Asylum For The Spiritually Insane (Yamaya Cruz)
These spiritual leaders are being torn apart by two opposing forces and eventually, they are going to go absolutely, completely crazy! It happens everyday, in all faiths and religions. Priest and spiritual leaders eventually become hypocrites because no one can live by two different sets of rules.

  • Aries Most Compatible Astrological Signs For Lasting Love Partners (Conrad Dane)
Those born under the Aries astrological sign searching for true love may be having trouble finding someone who is truly compatible. With spiritual guidance and by researching the astrological signs most closely compatible to theirs, an Aries may be able to discover who is right for them instead of who they wish was the right one.

  • The Secret of Black Magic (Yamaya Cruz)
The true secret of black magic is alchemy. It is a science, and much like a chemist it needs the right ingredients, measurements, timing, and knowledge to transform itself from copper to gold.

  • Spiritual Energy (Yamaya Cruz)
n dummy terms, chakras actually create fuel within the body, much like a solar panel takes sunlight and converts it into electricity. This is the body's natural way of recharging itself. Unfortunately, over the years people have become heavily dependent on fuel. And I don't just mean gasoline. We have forgotten how to recharge our own batteries.

  • Jesus Forbids Exclusion! (Aaron Taylor)
The term evangelical Christian and I share a love/hate relationship. On the one hand, I believe in the good news of Jesus' death and resurrection and desire to share the implications of this news with others. The problem is that for most people in America, the term evangelical Christian is loaded with political undertones...

  • How Did We Get the Books of the Bible? (Jo Ann LeQuang)
The Old and New Testaments contain 66 books--but how do we know that they are the "right" books? How did we come to get the books of the Bible? The way in which canon or official texts were identified is crucial to understanding and appreciating the authority of Scripture.
