Did you ever think that you could be running your vehicle with water? Water is being used to supplement gasoline by using hydrogen conversion technology. The engine of your car is able to use energy that is extracted from water in the form of Hydroxy or HHO, also known as Brown's gas. Since the world is in the midst of ever-increasing gas prices, this technology can provide a great relief.

Because of this technological discovery, is it possible that water will become the next oil? Some people see it as profitable in the same way as oil, and also that water will be depleted in the same way. Environmentalists see water being abused environmentally the same way that oil has been. The Earth might be covered with over 70% water, but only 3% is good enough to be consumed by humans, and two-thirds of this amount is frozen. Most of the water on the planet is sea water, which can't be used for agriculture or drinking. The exploitation of water has been taking place in a similar way as what has been going on with oil.

Industrial plants have polluted and contaminated many bodies of water. Drought and thirst are plaguing many nations where their bodies of water are drying up. According to some, the melting of glaciers has been caused by global warming, which has been the result of the burning of fossil fuels. This has also led to changes in the climate, causing too much rain in some places, and too little in others. Water has become big business, and affordable water is becoming a problem for many nations, including parts of the United States. With water being as scarce as it is, running cars with water instead of gas might lead to problems.

By the lack of encouragement to develop cars running on water as a supplement to gasoline, shows water, oil and gas have a deeper conflict. Since water is a major source of life, it is important to take care of what we have, especially if water is the new source of gasoline. We certainly do not want what is happening in the gasoline industry to happen with water. It is a difficult thing to battle the high price of commodities, so hopefully water won't become one. It has already become a $500 billion market with agriculture, waste treatment, and distribution of drinking water. Water is a necessity for human life, so a human rights movement is against privatizing water.

Clean water should be made available to all, and not only those who can afford it. When it comes to having drinking water or putting it in your car, people's lives are more important than a vehicle. Certainly, it is time for the people of the world to be more than consumers who have products constantly pushed on them by big business.
