Most people do not need to get a ton of measurements done, nor do they have to get cast for a custom knee brace. This is information that will save you some serious cash! Remember this. Unless your leg is "out of the norm", which it usually is not, then you will be able to get great support from a non-custom knee support. This will save you several hundred dollars.

Finding The Best Knee Brace For Your Needs

One of the best ways for you to find the right support is asking yourself the following questions :

1.) How bad is my knee instability, on a scale 1-10? (ten being the worst)

2.) How much knee pain am I having? (Again, 10 is the worst)

There are other important questions but these are probably among the top ones to consider...

If you have a definitive diagnosis from your physician this information can be very helpful as well.

Lastly, when you are looking for a small, medium or large knee brace, or another specific kind, it is important that once you visit the brace providers website that you have a way to communicate with them. If you are not able speak to a human in some way or another, whether it is email or a phone call with any questions. Move on.
