The idea of building your list is easy to understand. Many people also understand the huge value of building your own list because we have all heard over and over again that building your list is key, and that your list is your most valuable asset. I agree that these statements are incredibly true.

However, it is not enough to just know what you need to do. To accomplish anything it requires more than that, and this is no different. First you need to know the basic tasks you will need to complete. Secondly you need necessary tools to get the job done right. Would you dig a hole in your yard with a spoon instead of a shovel? Definitely not! We need tools that will be both effective and reliable. For this reasons I have researched for the most reliable yet affordable tools to use in your journey of building your list.

First let's talk about hosting. There are almost endless choices for hosting. I have narrowed the list down to the ones highest recommend by both Internet marketers and network marketers. The more robust and effective choices are:

1) Kiosk
2) Host4Profit

These two are the most recommended for Internet network marketers and trusted by the most successful of us in the industry. With either of these you have all the features needed to create any website you desire. There are other web hosts out there who will freely cancel your account and all of your data at the event of a spam complaint or other issue, so be aware of this and if you can stick with a host you can trust.

Secondly let's talk about autoresponders. An autoresponder is another tool you must not go without. With the use of an autoresponder it makes building your list, contacting your list with high deliverability, and automatic follow-up a reality!

The autoresponder many online marketers including myself highly recommend is called Aweber. This is also the most popular autoresponder service. The benefits are that you can be sure that your messages will be delivered with almost flawless deliverability to your contacts each and every time you send a broadcast or automated message during a follow-up sequence if you are using a squeeze page. Another benefit is that it makes it extremely easy to create and get code for web forms in order to collect opt-ins from your website.

Things you want to be aware of with some other autoresponder services such as Autoresponse Plus or certain autoresponders that you can pay once for and download is the fact that you will most likely get poor deliverability, or your deliverability will get worse over time. As you probably know, a huge importance in e-mail marketing is getting your message seen. I recommend going with a service you can count on.

Let's move onto automation. The rest of the process is simple, get a page set-up on your web host and put on the opt-in form connected to your autoresponder. If you are unsure of how to create a web page you can easily use a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor such as Microsoft FrontPage to create and save a web page.

Anything you can learn that will help you grow or improve your online business or marketing is information that you should seek out and apply. I always seek to learn more because knowledge you will always have for the entire future of your marketing career and because the more you know about a given topic then naturally the better you will be at it and the more money you will make. So the last ingredient is knowledge. Learn the "how" in order to complete the "what to do" information you have learned. Keep in mind that a big benefit to network marketing is having a sponsor, so get in touch with them for guidance and work together towards your goals.
