Augmentation mammoplasty, more commonly referred to as breast augmentation is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is used to enhance the shape and size of a woman's breasts for many different reasons. The goal or the surgery is to give the woman better-shaped and smaller breasts which they feel are more in proportion with the rest of their body.

The reconstruction of a breast is known as breast reconstruction. The surgery is an emotionally and physically rewarding plastic surgery procedure for a woman who, through caner or other condition, lost her breast or breasts.

Even though breast reconstruction is capable of providing you with a relatively natural-looking breast, it will never feel or look exactly the same as it had before the breast was removed.
