Cosmetic eyelid surgery which is also referred to as blepharoplasty, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that improves the appearance of the lower eyelids, upper eyelids, or both. It can also make you look more rested and alert by giving a rejuvenated appearance to the surrounding area of your eyes.

Thyroid disorders like Graves' disease and over or underactive thyroid. Also cardiovascular diseases such as high blood pressure or any other circulatory disorder including diabetes.
You must be completely candid during your consultation with your plastic surgery to ensure the success and safety of your eyelid surgery procedure. Your plastic surgeon will ask you a number of question regarding your health, lifestyle, and desires. For your consultation you should be prepared to discuss many things. You'll be asked why you want the surgery and what your expectations are as well as your desired outcome. You will discuss your medical conditions, drug allergies, and previous medical treatments. You will also discuss your current use of the following: vitamins, herbal supplements, medications, tobacco, alcohol, and drugs.
