So you'd like to make money with Clickbank...

Here is an easy to follow, four step process that is free to do at the basic level.

Step One - Head over to the Clickbank Marketplace and ferret out a good product to sell.

Actually, Clickbank Marketplace is pretty basic so I suggest that you try a free alternative service such as Cbtrends.com.

Cbtrends.com allows you to research Clickbank products according to various criteria such as popularity, gravity, earnings per sale, commission rates and so on. You can also check the performance history of individual vendors or products.

Step Two - Select keyword phrases. You should be able to find several useful keyword phrases by reading the sales page. When researching keywords, look for phrases that have a high level of search activity and a relatively low level of competitiveness. You can use the free Google Adwords research tool to do this, https://adwords.google.com.

Step Three - Set up a product-related blog. Go over to Blogger.com and set up a free blog specifically about the Clickbank product you want to promote. Ideally, you should include the name of the product in the title of your blog.

Next, write a short report about the product and insert your affiliate link to the sales page. The only purpose of the blog is to get visitors to click through to the Clickbank product sales page.

Step Four - Write an article around one of your keyphrases and submit it to several of the best article directories.

Since your aim is to create interest in the Clickbank product that you are promoting, it is probably a good idea to write your article in the form of a product review. Don't try to sell the product in the article, and don't insert your affiliate link in the main body of the article. Don't even place it in your signature file at the foot of the article.

Instead, link your signature file to your newly created blog.

You have now set up a traffic funnel which leads from your article to your blog and from your blog to your Clickbank sales page.

The blog acts as a bridge between your article and your sales page and if you write a strong blog post it should help to pre-sell the product so that the surfer will arrive on the sales page in a receptive frame of mind, ready to be persuaded that this is the product that he or she needs to solve the particular problem that attracted the visitor to your article in the first place.

Once you have your blog set up with your affiliate link you can write more articles, utilizing some of the other keywords that you researched, and submit them to various article directories.

If your articles are useful and well written there is a good chance that they will be picked up and republished on other websites, which will help to increase traffic flow to your blog.

Your blog will also begin to show up on the search engines as you continue to fill it with product related information. Remember to include your affiliate link in every article that you post to your blog.

Follow this four step Clickbank marketing strategy consistently and you should be able to make money with Clickbank.
