Also remember that even poultry comes in white meat and dark meat; instead of eating cuts of thigh on chicken, for example, look into chicken breasts instead.

Also remember that seafood is a great way to make sure that you can get the protein that you need while getting a lot of those essential fatty acids. Salmon, tuna and mackerel are all considered oily fish and because of this, they are a great source of Omega 3 fatty acids. By eating them regularly, not only can you get the protein that you need, you can also ensure that your body is running properly as well.

Perhaps one thing that you might have to do - which you may or may not like to do - you want to know eat to build muscle is to do your cooking yourself. Even if you are not a very good cook, you will discover that cooking even the basic things for yourself will allow you to have more control over what you are eating. Everything from the quality of the meat to the amount of oil used is going to be under your control, and this can make a lot of difference.

When you are thinking about the foods that build muscle, remember that lean meat is going to be your best option; this can help propel your efforts forward very quickly.
