We all have an ideal heat for a certain situation, but knowing when to match those heats to the situation can be tricky, and it's something that God or whoever is in charge of the weather has to be aware of. These are a few situations where you don't want the "wrong".

When Running A Marathon

There are all sorts of aspects of the temperature of the weather that one needs to worry about when running a marathon. Because you're going to be sweating a lot you really don't want to be in a situation where it's too humid, otherwise you're running the risk of losing too much water. Likewise, you really can't have a dry heat, as dehydration will become an even greater problem and you'll struggle to have enough water in your system.

On the other hand, if the weather is too cold you run the risk of pulling a muscle, especially if you don't warm up properly and if it's too wet then there's always the possibility that you might slip and go over and ankle or worse. Marathon weather is just one of the challenges you have to manage when taking on this daunting race.

When You Get Married

Nobody likes to have a wedding where the bride looks bedraggled when she arrives in the marque because it's been chucking it down while she's been having her photographs taken. Likewise, if it's too hot during the meal then you can end up with a couple doing a very sweaty first dance, which is extremely unpleasant to watch and just as embarrassing for the couple themselves.

At A Job Interview

When we are in a pressure situation our skin heats up and to counter-act this we sweat. A job interview is a classic situation where we are under pressure and therefore prone to sweating more than normal. Consequently, when it's hot this situation is exacerbated and therefore we really want a cold enough meeting or conference room for the interview so that we don't feel uncomfortable and can focus on answering the questions as best we can without worrying about personal hygiene issues.

After all, it's very rare that a human who is sweating profusely is going to impress a stranger by doing so.

So those are just three situations where the temperature is something you need to consider. When is the next time you'll be looking at the weather forecast with a keen eye?
