You've worked really heard to learn how to make a guy fall in love with you, but now you just don't know what to think.

Can you really believe a man who tells you he loves you, but who won't commit to you? When you've been dating a man for a long time and are ready to turn your relationship into a marriage, it can be extremely frustrating and confusing to find out he's commitment phobic in every sense of the word.

Becoming a husband can make a man feel extreme pressure to be successful. Remember, he wants to be your provider, and marriage means being able to take care of you and a potential family. The thought of this alone can make him extremely commitment phobic if he's not currently in an excellent financial position.

Remember, you, like most women, aren't expected to work after being married, but he is. You have the choice to work, but he's expected to provide for you. That's a big burden to shoulder.

Does your man make you feel appreciated? Does he want to be physically close to you? Does he listen when you need to talk or try to make you feel better when you've had a bad day? These are all signs a man truly loves you even if he hasn't dropped to one knee and asked you to marry him yet.

Is your man there for you emotionally? Does he open up to you and tell you how he feels? Most men will resist talking about feelings as much as possible. It makes them extremely uncomfortable because they are brought up from childbirth to hold everything inside and be tough.

If your man opens up to you and lets you in on what's going on inside his heart and mind, then he views you as a major source of intimacy. In fact, you may be his ONLY source of intimacy because men don't normally have a support group of friends they discuss all their personal problems with. They tend to deal with them alone. Allowing you to know him in ways no one else does is a sure sign he loves you.
