He says, "Just give me a second. It will only take 5 minutes", but by then the entire flow of the relationship has been disrupted.

But he's not the only one to blame. You're probably equally at fault when getting minute by minute play-by-play about what's going on with your girlfriends.

If you really want to save your marriage, then make a commitment to spend quality time together away from technology. Turn your phone off for an hour. I promise nothing bad is going to happen and you're not going to miss out on anything. Spend time reading together or play a board game. Spice things up and play a sexy board game.

Once a week, pick a night for date night. Go do something fun. Keep your phone at bay. When you first started dating, you had time for each other. Everything else could wait. Why should that be any different now?
