There are many different reasons relationships end. When your ex breaks up with you what he or she gives you for a reason may or may not be the REAL reason for the breakup. Breakups are hard enough and your ex may not tell you the truth because they don't want to hurt your feelings any more than they already are.

3.) Nagging And Criticism

When your ex breaks up with you for this reason, it's often a sign of contempt in the relationship caused when you, them, or both of you start focusing on all the negatives in the relationship instead of accepting each other for who you are.

Sometimes your ex will break up with you because you cheat on them. When men cheat it's often because an opportunity arises and they can't help themselves. When women cheat it's often for emotional reasons (e.g. they aren't getting what they need emotionally from their current relationship).

This reason for a breakup often comes from a lack of communication in the relationship and from not understanding the wants and needs of your partner (or not being able to express those effectively). For example, many men have a hard time accessing and expressing emotions which can drive some women crazy and push them to the point where they feel like they just can't communicate in a healthy way.
