Why do men ignore women in a relationship? It's a question that doesn't have an easy answer. Men ignore women for many reasons, and it's not uncommon for women to feel neglected and/or ignored at some point in a relationship, especially after the "newness" has worn off.

In most cases, when a man ignores you, it indicates a problem. However, knowing what men want and then getting your man to talk about it is an entirely different story.

The Reasons Why Men Ignore Women In A Relationship

When a man ignores a woman in a relationship, it often means something has made him feel distant. Because men don't like to talk about their feelings, it's his way of pulling away and creating some space. Just some of the reasons a man might start ignoring you include:

1.) He feels like he's lost his independence because you've become clingy and/or needy.

2.) He's feeling crowded and/or pressured because you're way too into him way too fast.

3.) He's not really all that into you anymore, but doesn't want to tell you that directly.

4.) He feels like he can't do anything right because you're always nagging or complaining about something he did.

5.) He feels he never gets time for himself because you're always around.

6.) He feels guilty about something so he's avoiding you.

7.) He might simply be stressed about something else going on in his life.

8.) He knows you're ready for commitment, but he's not ready to give up his bachelor lifestyle just yet.

9.) He's starting to resent you because he feels like he has to give up some of the things he loves to be with you (e.g hanging out with his buddies, going fishing on the weekends, etc.)

In many cases, when a man ignores a woman, he is indicating he needs some space. The best way to remedy the situation is to give him what he needs. Don't try to force him to talk about it. That will only make matters worse. If he's ignoring you, take some time for yourself and give him space.

Men like to work things out on their own and sometimes they just need time to themselves, so giving him space may be all he needs to return to being the loving and affectionate man you fell in love with.

It can be extremely frustrating when he won't give you any answers as to what's going on in his heart and his head, but you must understand men and women are very different. If you want him to open up to you, then you'll need to explore those differences and use them to your advantage.
