This quiz will help you determine whether you suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Do you get sudden spikes of anxiety when you have certain thoughts? Like if you think about hurting someone. Or think about a certain number or a certain way you did something. These things may seem arbitrary to people without OCD.

People with OCD on the other hand, this could feel like life or death. Do you count things that you do or thoughts that you have? Do you think about the same things over and over again analyzing everything and every detail? If you do these things, you have Obsessive Compulsive thoughts.

Did you know that OCD thoughts are a habit and that you can break this habit, just like you can break the habit of biting your nails or avoiding cracks on the sidewalk? Most "professionals" would have you believe that you cannot get over obsessive thoughts and that they are some kind of disorder.

Nothing could be further from the truth. I am here to tell you from experience first hand that you can get rid of obsessive thoughts in your life and you can and will live a normal life again if you do very simple, but tedious steps. There steps are tedious because our brain resists change. In order for you to get over OCD you're going to have to accept change.

You will have to accept changing what thoughts you automatically go to when something happens. The way you respond to things that you hear, taste, touch, smell etc, determine whether you have OCD or not! Let me say that in a different way. The way that we respond to events and thoughts determines whether we have OCD or not!

If you change the way that you respond to different things you think or see, you will no longer suffer. You will have peace of mind. You will be someone who is no longer afraid of anxiety. The reason people get so stuck on OCD is that they are so afraid of anxiety that they refuse to face it and they avoid it like the plague!

In order to get rid of OCD, you have to face anxiety because that is what keeps OCD alive! If you cut out the power supply to OCD, which is anxiety, OCD will instantly turn off. You don't have to know how everything works in order to control it. You don't have to know how electricity works to turn a light off!

What you should really focus on is realizing and accepting the fact that OCD is just a habit. That OCD is powered by Anxiety and that once the anxiety is dealt with, the OCD disappears. If you are no longer afraid something will happen if you don't do a ritual, you don't have OCD!

Everyone has OCD thoughts. People without OCD have OCD thoughts. They just react to them differently. They identify it as a dumb thought and toss it like garbage. You will learn how to do the same thing. When something really important in your life happens, that is when you will be most vulnerable with OCD thoughts. If you stay strong during these moments, you are indeed, OCD free!
