Here's the plan: Pull any five great giants of business and commerce into the one environment, and then film them as new business entrepreneurs try to get them to part with their own cash for investments in the wannabe entrepreneurs business.

The objective: To produce a fascinating series of TV entertainment. Long live the increasingly popular Dragons Den TV series. Since the first series of Dragons Den was aired in the UK, many aspiring business entrepreneurs have been encouraged to launch their own business.

This trend continues despite the UK cruising through the worst economic crisis in fifty years. It can in part be attributed to famous business entrepreneurs delivering normally unobtainable inside secrets of business.

For anyone interested in starting their own business, or growing, or expanding their business, then the BBC's Dragons Den makes for compulsive viewing. The new eighth Dragon's Den 2010 series looks set be even better than previous series, as the producers are looking to increase the series to 10 programmes.

Although the BBC are very good at keeping a business secret, it appears no secret that the Dragon Investors' Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan are all appearing in the new series.

Occasionally some inside secrets of business are disclosed to business owners on the Dragons Den (DD). However, quite often the Dragons don't get time to reveal every business secret.

After careful research I've identified a Bakers Dozen of valuable inside secrets of business from Dragons Den Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden& James Caan. Look for more business growth secrets in the new DD 2010 series.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #1 Think About It

In the Dragons Den TV book, Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan all talk about how they thought about their business. It's no great business secret that most successful business entrepreneurs have stated, they thought long and hard about researching and planning their business.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #2 Be Original

As the DD TV series increases in popularity, expect to see some really fresh and original business ideas being presented to Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan in the new DD 2010. Being business original is a business secret often missed by aspiring entrepreneurs.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #3 Choose A Business You Will Enjoy

This business secret can be recognised by watching the two unofficial Dragon investor teams of Duncan Bannatyne and James Caan battle with Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden on DD TV to gain control of a business investment they will enjoy. Watch the battle continue in the new DD 2010 series with Peter Jones.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #4 Research

In previous episodes of DD TV, this business secret was often relayed by Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan as being the foundation corner stone of every business.

If history is to be repeated, then no doubt several new entrepreneurs will have failed in their research when appearing in the new DD 2010 series.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #5 Plan

Much of the entertainment and drama of the DD TV results from entrepreneurs who have failed to plan before pitching to Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan for investment.

Hopefully the best kept business secret of DD 2010 won't be, 'fail to plan - plan to fail.'

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #6 Timing

If one business secret has ever been repeatedly reinforced on the DD TV, then it is ensuring you get the timing right for launching your business.

It will be interesting to hear what Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan advise about timing on the new series of DD 2010, especially given that we are still in the middle of an economic downturn.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #7 Know Your Stuff

If DD TV has taught us anything, it's taught us that Duncan Bannatyne knows about serial business investments. Peter Jones knows about visionary future business sectors. Theo Paphitis knows about retail, Deborah Meaden knows about marketing & sales and James Caan knows about people related investments.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #8 Honesty

In previous episodes of DD TV, Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden have reduced aspiring entrepreneurs to nervous wrecks as they interrogated them with probing questions to ascertain the honesty of their pitch.

Honesty is a business secret which will no doubt be explored in the new DD 2010 series.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #9 Confidence

Confidence is probably more a required attribute than a business secret. Pick any one of the following DD TV investors like, Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan and you will see hyper levels of confidence.

Even though some of the more overtly confident Dragons like Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones & Theo Paphitis grab the headlines it's unwise to underestimate the inner business confidence of Deborah Meaden and James Caan.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #10 Presentation

Prior episodes of the DD TV have seen business entrepreneurs with good business ideas fail to gain investment from Duncan Bannatyne, Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden, simply because Peter Jones and/or James Caan verbally assassinated the person pitching because they were poorly dressed, or their presentation was badly delivered.

This business secret will no doubt be further explored in the new DD 2010 series.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #11 Do It Now

Given the new series of DD 2010 will be launched during the current economic downturn, it will be interesting to see how Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan advise new entrepreneurs about 'doing it now.'

However one DD TV business secret that has to work in order to assist long term sustainable business growth is getting 'doing it now.' If you don't do it now, the chances are you'll never do it.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #12 Communication

Theo Paphitis and Deborah Meaden appear to be real keen on establishing clear and concise communications in every business they invest in. Effective communication is one of the most valuable keys to any business success.

Expect to see further examples of communication in the new DD 2010 series with Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones and James Caan.

Dragons Den: Inside Secrets Of Business #13 Learn From Prior Failures

The person who doesn't make any mistakes, is the person who never makes anything. James Caan, Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne are all on record talking about their prior mistakes.

The key factor for business growth is to learn from these mistakes, as well as learning from the mistakes of others. This is a fantastic business secret that has been mentioned previously on DD TV.

Every DD viewer is looking for that one inside business secret that will make a substantial difference to their business growth. However the more savvy business owners are looking to identify more than one business secret.

Sadly given the constraints of TV broadcast time, and the requirement for a balance between business investment and TV entertainment, the BBC DD TV is unlikely to deliver a great number of inside secrets of business.

That said, the key to finding out is to continue watching the new DD 2010 series, but also to conduct your own research.

Much information can be found online about Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and James Caan and their inside secrets of business. Alternatively several books have been published about the Dragons Den TV series and the individual Dragons.

Duncan Bannatyne has published several books, and James Caan has recently published his autobiography. Collectively these house a gold mine of inside secrets of business which when utilised can turbo charge your business growth.
