Even though there are numerous individuals that have already taken advantage of a cell phone forensic investigation, there are still several people that wonder why someone would need to recover erased text messages from a Motorola cell phone, or other type of cell phone for that matter. There are actually several different types of situations that a person would benefit from the data that is obtained using this type of forensic investigation.

Due to the variety of features that most all cell phones offer today and the ease in which they can be used, there are more people every single year that end up engaging in some type of activity that they shouldn't. Some of the most common problems that occur and would cause the need for someone to recover erased text messages from a Motorola cell phone would include the following situations.

When a partner or spouse has been spotting some warning signs that their significant other may be engaging in an affair behind their back
When a parent of spouse believes that their husband, wife or teenager has been sexting another individual
When the employer of a business believes that one of their employees is engaging in the use of illegal drugs or has been stealing various products or money from the business
When a parent suspects that their teen child may be bulling another kid, sexting, or using illegal drugs

Each of these situations can end up with very serious consequences for the guilty party and they should be checked into at the first signals that something out of the ordinary is going on.

When someone sees the need to recover erased text messages from a Motorola cell phone, some of the other types of data that is also retrieved include pictures, videos and graphics that have been erased, address book and caller ID entries, call log records that contain the time and duration of cell phone calls that have been made and received, email addresses, contact information that includes names and phone numbers that may have been erased events or information that have been entered on the cell phone's calendar, and other erased data.

Another benefit of cell phone forensic investigations is that they are reasonable in cost and they do not take a large amount of time to complete before you are sent a document containing the detailed data that was recovered from the phone.
