Take the quiz below and find out whether or not you are an Alpha Networker:

Do you react without thinking?

Do you have a strategy?

Do you employ a shotgun approach in finding prospects?

Are you scared of phone conversations?

Are you a terrible marketer?

Are you afraid to connect with prospects in person?

Do you sell?

If you've answered "Yes" to numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and "No" to number 2, then you probably are NOT.

Alpha Networker 2.0

My Magnetic Sponsoring has recently launched its new, and may I say, amazing, training course dubbed as Alpha Networker 2.0! This course on leadership was introduced by online marketer Ryan Angelo and has got to be the most mind-blowing training course I've ever heard! If this training course can not move you into action, nothing will!

Much like my earlier post that talked about three leadership strategies that could lead to success, this course introduces the principles of Alpha Leaders and Beta Followers and talks about the X factor that differentiates these types of people.

Are you an Alpha Leader or a Beta Follower?

Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and has the numeric value of 1.

It symbolizes the first or most significant occurrence of something also referred to as the "beginning." In Alpha Networker 2.0, Alphas are referred to as the leaders.

Beta is the second letter of the Greek alphabet and has the numeric value of 2. It follows Alpha and in Alpha Networker 2.0, it is predictably used as a term referring to Beta followers.

Obviously, this training course wants to make Alpha Leaders of us all.

So, the question remains: are you an Alpha Networker?

7 Vital Factors of an Alpha Networker

Let's revisit your answers in the quiz:

Do you react without thinking?

If you do, you are a Beta. Having a reactive mindset, Betas react without thinking. On the other hand, Alphas are proactive. Meaning, it thinks ahead using foresight. This is by far a powerful mindset that a true leader, an Alpha, possesses. Without this mindset, do not expect success.

Do you have a strategy?

This is the only question that should have elicited a "yes." Having a strategy is very crucial in achieving success as a leader. If you have a plan and you don't test it or think of alternative plans, it's zero strategy. Definitely not an Alpha thing to do. Alphas have plans in all kinds of situations.

Do you employ a shotgun approach in finding prospects?

Not everyone is a target: we all know that as networkers. Thus, if you're an Alpha Networker, you should know better than to just go wherever the tide leads you. You should learn how to pick optimal prospects and know how to step back if you've realized you're just making a waste of your time approaching non-targets.

Are you scared of phone conversations?

A phone is just a tool and there's no reason to be scared with it. If you're a Beta, you can't hold a conversation for so long.

Are you a terrible marketer?

If you have less influence in person as a marketer, it is automatic that it cannot translate to any marketing strategy that you could do online. On the other hand, Alphas are intuitive.

Are you afraid to connect with prospects in person?

Alphas are generally self-confident and secure. They can hold their ground online and offline. Prospecting in person or connecting with persons face-to-face is not an issue.

Do you sell?

If you are selling outright nary a thought about the features and benefits of your products and/or services, you are obviously not an Alpha Networker. An Alpha Networker motivates the prospects first and never sells. You must be able to convince them to see the value in what you are representing.
