Exercise has come a long way. Nobody that can deny that exercise is good for you in some capacity. One spectacular thing about it is that when you exercise it not only benefits you physically, but mentally as well.

Here are five excellent reasons why you need to have exercise in your life:

1) Your body's core: Exercise is the most efficient, effective way to keep your body's core healthy and strong. What does your body's core do? Your body's core provides you with balance, stability, and good posture. Plus, a strong core will greatly reduce the risk of a potential back problem.

2) Your mental well being: When you incorporate a daily exercise routine into your life you will find that those problems that once felt cumbersome are just a bit easier to handle. Exercise makes you feel better and stimulates your endorphins to go wild. Endorphins do something spectacular for us - they create happiness and good feelings.

3) Reduce guilt from food: Everybody loves something that they consider indulgent. In other words - they love it, crave it, and deny themselves from enjoying it for fear of being overweight or unhealthy. Doesn't it make more sense to exercise and enjoy your special treat on occasion? Exercise will enable you to enjoy those moments guilt free. The side benefit is that you won't drive yourself crazy thinking about your indulgence or obsessing over it.

4) Decrease aches and pains: Yes, you can get stiff and soar when you exercise. That type of pain lets you know that you accomplished something that is good for you. When your knees, back, or joints ache all you think about is that you are getting older. Well, you are getting older but you don't have to feel older. Exercise has the amazing ability to help you feel younger than you have in years.

5) Personal satisfaction: One of the toughest commitments a person makes is the commitment to exercise on a regular basis. Everybody starts out with an exercise plan that sounds terrific. That exercise plan has a pretty good chance of being modified once the initial enthusiasm decreases. That's when you come up with a final exercise plan. When you stick to your final plan and start seeing results from the exercise you will change in ways that can't quite be described. You are proud of yourself and you should be.

Exercise is clearly more than muscle building. It is life building. When you commit to exercise you will find that you develop a whole new perspective on your body and your life. Other people will notice that transformation too. Then, you will find that perfect opportunity to share your amazing secret. People will ask you what the secret is. You will be able to look right into their eyes and say, "Exercise is the secret. It benefits you from the inside out."
