But let's talk about how to replace your job and never again look back - even if, or when, it should be a viable choice down the road. You can choose your own hours when you work from home, and you can start by doing it part time. You can also do this at no cost or mere change from under the sofa cushions.

A lot of newbies have high expectations of earning big money fast on the Internet --- generally speaking it does not happen that way. So while you are collecting unemployment that keeps your head above water, this would be the ideal time to begin. I will give you straight advice and leave hype at the door, but you must promise to be willing to put in the work to achieve success.

I have been marketing on the Internet since 1997, and I'm no spring chicken. I realized long ago there was no magic button to push and the money just pours in. Maybe you have already bought products which have not worked, been given wrong advice, or wasted some of your hard earned money. So you have a good idea of what I am taking about.

This is why Affiliate Marketing is so easy to enter. You only drive traffic to a website where someone else sells their product. It costs you nothing to become their Affiliate. You don't need a website (use theirs), you don't need a product (use theirs), you don't need to handle the money or the shipping (they do). And every time you make a sale, they give you a big percent of the profit.

You can find good websites to affiliate with on Amazon, Clickbank, and Commission Junction to name a few. Join them and read a few of the programs that are looking for someone to sell their products. So far this has cost you nothing. Maybe you would like to sell books, or health products, or electronics - or maybe all of the above. Choose one -- get it up and going then go back for another.

Your task will be to drive traffic to these websites you have chosen and there are plenty of ways to do that - post ads, make flyers, join groups like Twitter or Facebook and begin talking about your new affiliate product.
