In the current economic climate everyone is looking for some way to save money in any possible area. And if you are getting married you know by now how many expenses are involved in planning a wedding. You are probably looking for wedding flower ideas and in particular for ways to save on your flowers. One way to do this is to make your own bridal bouquet.

Now you are thinking: this woman must be crazy but I assure you I am perfectly sane and it is very do-able. Your next response will probably be: Why would I want to do that? Let me try and make up your mind for you:

1. You can save quite a substantial amount of money on your flowers

2. You can have exactly the colors you prefer (and your flower color may even determine the color of the wedding!)

3. You can have a truly unique design that is not a copy of someone else's

4. Once you have learned how to do this and to make other arrangements, you can design for other people to make extra money.

If I have your attention now, I would like to assure you that there is quite a lot of help available online in many different forms and you should study as many of them as possible. This is what you will need to look for:

A) Find the specific type of flower you would like and if you are not familiar with flowers, make a point of learning names

B) Another point is to determine when the flowers of you choice are available in abundance since this can have a huge impact on the expenses

C) Do you know a local store that you prefer for flowers or maybe even a grower in your area? This again can save you a considerable amount of money since there will be no transportation costs involved

D) Next you will want to know how to treat different flowers. And yes some needs more attention than others to keep them fresh longer

E) Find out about the tools you may need to make your bouquet Find instructions (preferably with pictures or a video) illustrating how to tape and wire flowers

F) Practice how to assemble the bouquet in different shapes until you find one you are happy with

G) Shop for the perfect ribbon or cord to complete your bouquet

Are you ready to get started? Go for it girl. Go assemble lots of information and wedding flower ideas which will enable you to make your own bridal bouquet. Remember power is knowledge and if I can give you a word of advice: Practice to make your bouquet several times before the wedding until you are satisfied with your level of success.

You must be very excited knowing that your wedding day is getting nearer. It is such an awesome time and you should enjoy every moment.
