Aloha Party Games To Bring The Tropical Islands To The Party Venue

No matter how harsh the climate, say Aloha to a tropical theme party in celebration of a birthday or other celebration. Say aloha to old man winter with tropical theme party with many fun party games.

Around The Hawaiian Islands Basket Toss. This is fun aloha theme party game that all party guests can play. Tie a grass hula skirt around 5 gallon bucket (or basketball rim if available) Draw the outline of the 7 Hawaiian Islands in a horse shoe shape around the bucket if on a paved surface. If the party takes place on grass cut out the Hawaiian islands from construction paper and have players shoot behind the islands. Each player starts at one end of the Hawaiian Islands and takes a turn shooting the ball. If a player gets a basket then they get to move on to the next island and take another shot. If a basket is missed then it is the next players turn. The first player to make it around all 7 islands consecutively wins.

Find The Hawaiian Treasures. Players must search the party area for fun Hawaiian treasures such as Tiki masks, gold, jewelry, and other fun Hawaiian artifacts. Give the children a homemade treasure map to follow along with clues to find the ultimate treasure.

Find the Seashells. A simple game that requires the party host to hide seashells around the party area. The object of the game is to find the most seashells is the designated time.

Tropical Race. Have party guests dress in coconut bras, straw hats, grass skirts, flip-flops, leis, and other tropical clothing. Spilt the party guests into team and have party guests race to c chair, remove the clothing, run back, and tag their teammates. That teammate must run to the chair and put on the tropical clothing and run back to the starting line, remove the clothing and give to their teammate. This continues until everyone has put the tropical clothing on. The first team to complete this game is the winning team.

Blindfold Surfer. Blindfold surfer is played by laying four surfboard on the ground making a square. The object of the game is for players to walk on the surf boards, without stepping off, blindfolded all the way around the surfboards. Simple walking on the surfboards is not challenging enough so make party guests balance a coconut on their head (one hand only). Players must walk around the surfboards as fast as possible. the player who can complete the desired number of laps is the winner.

Aloha party games and printable activities are simple, but incredibly fun and entertaining games for children and adults alike.
