Celebrate the Fourth of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, or other United States national holiday with fun Patriotic party games and printable pctivities. Patriotic party games will ignite the American spirit and display pride and love for the United States. Encourage all party guests to participate in Patriotic Party Games and Printable Activities and do not forget to offer fun patriotic theme party favors to all party game winners.

Flag Tag. Flag tag is played by giving all players mini American Flags to hold. Line the players in a circle formation and give each player a number 1-10 or however many players there are. On go, the party host will say number 4 captures number 7, therefore, number 4 will have to chase number 7 around the circle while number 7 tries to run around back to their spot in their circle (the player who is being chased must run twice around the circle giving the chaser an opportunity to catch them). If the chaser does tag the runner, they receive that players flag. If the chaser does catch the runner no flags are exchanged. The game ends when time has expired or until one player has most of the flags. For example, if one player has captured 4 flags from players and that player is caught by another player, the player who tagged him or her earns all 4 of their flags.

Ping Pong Ball Hat Toss. Ping Pong Ball Hat Toss is played by using patriotic Cat in the Hat style hats and ping pong balls. Line up 7-10 hats in a row with a couple feet in between each hat. Give each child 5 ping pong ball to throw from the throwing line. Place small prizes on the bottom of the hats such as candy, small notepads, pencils, and other small items. The last hat furthest from the throwing line should have the best party favor prize. The child who makes their ping pong ball wins that prize for that hat.

Find 50 Stars. Cut out several hundred stars representing the States on the American Flag. Hide the stars around the party area in various locations. On go, the players must scramble to find 50 stars as fast as possible. The child who can find the 50 stars and bring them back to the starting area is declared the winner. Give children a pale, bucket, or small bag to place their stars in. The size of the stars should be big enough so they are visible but not so big finding the stars is not challenging for players.

Patriotic party games can also serve duel purposes: 1) Party games are fun. 2) Patriotic party games can help teach children about stares, capitols, and other important historical facts as well.
